Q: is 160k miles good for a used ‘96 Toyota Camry?
I’m sixteen, and found a used Toyota Camry online. I’m interested in getting it for my first car but I don’t know if this is good mileage. Also, the price is $2,300 is that a fair price???

A: This vehicle is on it’s last legs.

Driving this car would be unsafe.

Any American made would last 3x longer.

Q: how much does it cost to buy a used Toyota Camry 2003 model in canada?

A: That depends on quite a few things.

First off, the Camry is the basically the higher end Toyota car. It’s a lot larger than the Corolla and has way more options. Some 2003 models will have leather and sunroofs, others won’t and that’s where your price will vary.

Prices will probably start at around $13500 and move upwards to slightly over $20000.

Again it varies based on the options package it has as well as the wear and tear and whether its a certified pre-own or a private sale.

I would check out autotrader.ca

A: If there was an easy way to bypass it, someone would have stolen your car by now… Probably haffta talk to an OEM dealer.

They are a good car when their going and a 163 thou isn’t that much.
Just do the normal oil, water and drive

Q: I have a used 2005 toyota camry LE and I want to get an extra key. Should I just go a get a copy of it?

Just go to the local locksmith, you will them listed in the Yellow Pages of your telephone book. They may send you to the dealer for a specialty key but that’s where I would start.

Good Luck..

Q: toyota camry used as taxis now?
Have yall seen the new Camry as taxis riding on the street? I wonder why they get a luxury car for a taxi? could yall give me a link to view pictures of the camry taxis, because people dont believe me, and I see it almost everday riding down the street. I cant find it in google!?! hanks!=)

A: Toyota Camry is not a luxury car but Avalon is.

Q: Used Toyota Camry – 1991 or 1994?
We are looking at two vehicles for sale. Our mechanic hasn’t checked them out yet, but I’m debating as to whether or not an “old school” 1991 model or the new 1994 is better.

It seems that the 1991 Camrys have very high consumer ratings, and I myself prefer the older cars. I realize about the no airbag problem, but I also know that airbags all too often don’t even deploy anyway, according to my research. I also feel more comfortable behind the wheel of an older car.

As far as “looks”, it doesn’t really mean anything to me. I need reliability above all else.

I would appreciate any opinions on this. The mileage on the 1991 is 105,000. I don’t yet have the mileage on the 1994.

Thanks in advance.

A: There was a body style change in 1992 so the 1994 will sell for more. Both cars are old so it really shouldn’t make much difference whether it is 15 years old or 18 years old. Just buy the one in the best mechanical condition.

Q: Do you think a used 01 Toyota Camry is too cheap for 43,000 miles?
They said they would sell it for me for $7 500

A: That is a really good deal. KBB.com says it should be worth anywhere from $8325 (fair condition) to $9750 (excellent condition) for that mileage. They either just want to give you a good deal or just want to get rid of it or there is something they are not telling you. Make sure it passes smog before you buy it. Good luck!

Q: Where can I get 1993 Toyota Camry manual?
My family just bought a used 1993 Toyota Camry V6 LE, and we found out that the manual didn’t came with it. Isn’t the manual usually come with the car? Anyway, is there any way to get 1993 Toyota Camry manual?

A: I purchased an owners manual for my car on ebay. Try typing in (Toyota Camry 1993, owners manual), and see what comes up. You can also try Craig’s List (www.craigslist.com).
It shouldn’t be that difficult to locate one.
Good luck to you.

Q: 2007 toyota camry used private owner.. need help in buying?
i am trying to buy a 2007 toyota camry from a private owner. it has 37000 miles on it and he is asking $14000.it has a clean title history. the kbb value for a good car is 12800 and the edmunds value is 14300. what is the best price that i can pay for this car.
the details are it is an LE 4 cylinder… gray metallic.. great exterior and interior..looks clean and new..i drove it..it is pretty smooth…

A: without knowing what model and or options ..

trade in value $12,532
private sale $13,748
dealer retail $14,666
certified used $15,934

the 07 has some transmission problems

owner reviews:

underpowered, delay in transmission, front end alignment & steering control not good, rear wheel brake caliber leaks fluid and dealer refuses to change it, front seats are not comfortable , gas mileage 23 average.

Handling is a little soft, i would not go around corners fast. Fit and finish is ok a lot of hard plastic. no memory seats. the transmission shifts hard when the engine is cold from 3rd to 4th gear, once its warmed up everything is smooth. The Tech said that the engine idle needs to be lowered. it worked for a while now its back to normal with the hard shifts.

I would recommend the vehicle for anyone who can afford the V6 XLE. the 4cyclinder has had some problems.

1) Transmission has a lot of issues. It simply does not work right. Second car, same issues. 2) The interior of a poor quality. Handles breaking off. Steering column cover is loose. The dealer told us all of the cars are like that. 3) Poor service. 4) The car is unreliable. 5) Overall very poor quality.

Q: What car should I get: a used 06 Acura TL, a new Toyota Camry, or something else?
I found a TL that has 22 K miles, navigation system, sunroof, leather seats, cd/tape player, grey color, etc. With the camry I want everything listed above. I have a cap of under $25,000, but if its worth it I can push it to no more than $27,000.

A: The TL is a nice car. It is the second best selling luxury sedan next to the BMW 3 series. It has more options that the Camry. It also offers better performance that the Toyota. The Camry just can’t compete with Audi, BMW Acura and Lexus in the luxury sedan class.

It will also be very hard to find a new Camry with Leather, sunroof and Nav for under $25K.

The Acura would be my choice.
