Q: What features does a 2009 Toyota Camry SE offer?
Do all 2009 Toyota Camry SE, come with a rear spoiler, sunroof, and auto up and down windows? Also, would a 2009 Toyota Camry SE have a rusted engine?

A: Rear Spoiler – Some models will have it, some wont. SE & XLE should have the spoiler.
Sunroof – im sure all models have the sunroof.
Powered Windows – Standard on all Camry models.

2009 means you’ll be buying a used car. Toyota engines are very good. If it is kept in good condition it will never become rusted.

Q: What websites can give you a quota of how much it will cost to get a paintjob on a toyota camry?
I am going to inherit my dads old car and it is in bad shape. It is a 1995 toyota camry. I live in Corona Ca and I need a website that I can insert my information and have a quota PLZZZZZZZZZZ HLP!!!!!!!

A: Do you want your car to look pretty sitting in the driveway or do you want to be able to drive around your circle city? If you have to ask for estimates, then you cannot afford both. Get a water-pump gasket, thermostat housing, and whatever else goes bad on a thirteen year old car. Please forgive me if I come across treating you as a teenager, but at one time I used to be one. And during such time I found out that the girls prefer the car with the working heater over the one with the racing spoiler and rally decals. Just passing along the knowledge.

*/End of Line.

Q: Is the 1995 Toyota Camry a good to drive in the mountains?
I go to college in Tennessee and so I have to drive up and down mountains. Is the 95 or 96 toyota camry going to handle the mountains well??????

A: it should handle fine the 6 cylinder is so much metter than the 4 only cause the camry was built to have a 6 cyl. but they have the 4 in the 6 cyl. body so the 4 cyl. struggles more which in turn burns more fuel and with the added stress of mountains comes the more matainence you have to do ‘ oil change, air filter etc… but with the 6 cyl. you have to watch out too cause it has added weight comapared to the 4 cyl. so brakes need to be good
along with everything (but not as often)

Q: Need advice on repairing a side view mirror on a Toyota Camry?
It’s either a 1997 or a 1998 Toyota Camry (it’s not my car, it’s my aunt’s so I’m not sure about the year but I know it’s a fourth generation model). It has power mirrors. First I need an estimate on the cost of a replacement mirror. I also need an estimate on how much a mechanic would charge to repair it. However, if it’s an easy repair to do myself, please tell me how to do it if you know how to. Thanks!

A: You can try to have a removable panel on the inside of the pillar.

The mirror is expensive becuase of it being electronic.

Your best option is going to a junk yard or calling your local body shops if they have any used ones in stock.

Q: toyota camry?

Q: What causes the air to blow hot from a 1992 Toyota camry?
I have a 1992 toyota camry. I had the air conditioner serviced and it was blowing cold air. The next day it was hot air. Does it have a leak and if so where could it be leaking from

A: Is it blowing HOT hot, like the heaters on?
If so, it sound like the air diverter in the air box under the dash is selected to run the air through the heater core (like the temp selector is pushed to hot). I’m not sure if this door is vacum-operated on your car or not, but look for a small vacum hose that might have some loose. Either that or there’s a mechanical linkage from the knob to the door flapper that came apart. Look under the dash for a little cable end that night have come loose.
If it’s blowing warm, but not hot…..
maybe the a/c compressor’s not kicking on. If it’s NOT, then it may have lost its charge due to a leak in the system. You say you had it serviced, but you didn’t say what was wrong with it, or what was done. You’ll have to have the system leak checked to find any leak and then get it repaired. If it’s an R134a system, you can buy refridgerant with leak detector (red dye) at your local auto parts store. If it’s an older R12 system, don’t try to mess with it yourself. There could be legal repercussions if you vent R12 without the proper license and recycling equipment.

Q: how much does it cost replace head gasket on 91 Toyota Camry?
I have a 91 Toyota Camry v6 for four door that need repair on head gasket or need to be replace. How much would u think it would cost?

A: I’ve worked for a Jeep/Chrysler/Toyota dealer for twenty nine years now and there is no repairing the head gasket it must be replaced. Now if you got the engine too hot it may have a warped cylinder head as well. If it’s just a blown head gasket my garage will charge between $700-$800 labor and about $125 for parts. If it needs some mill work done to the heads as well tack on about $300.00 more dollars. You’re looking at about 1100-1200 at a Toyota dealership.
Now for what you should do. Find someone you know to do this that is either a reputable dealer mechanic or a knowledgeable trusted friend. If you lived in Central Illinois i would do it because thats what i do when not at the shop because people are coming to me left and right to avoid having to pay the dealers fees and labor. If i was to do this exact job you would be looking at 75-100 for the gasket and 50 percent labor of the dealership. That would bring you to about $500-600 dollars for a professionally trained tech to do this job. Any more and your getting robbed and any less the person doing it doesnt probably know what theyre doing. All my labor and parts info was directly from our Dealership labor/parts program. Hope this answers your quiry.

Q: Which car has the better reputation or is better in general? Toyota Camry or Honda Accord?
Everyone and their mother has told me that the Honda Accord and Toyota Camry are the two best cars on the market today, but which one really has the better reputation? Speaking of the 4 cylinder models only, which one gets better gas mileage? Cost less to own as far as needing repairs and whatnot?

A: I would say the Honda Civic. its been around since the early seventies, (1972 to be exact) and has sold millions of them across the world and has gained one heck of a reputation at gas mileage no matter matter how much fuel cots, these days. the new Civic, which is what my Grandparents have, and from what they say, they love it. the outside is really good looking, and the interior is outstanding and comfy. trust me, if you want a car that will last a LONG time. buy the Civic.

Q: When will the 2010 toyota camry be available?
Lately my 1991 Toyota Camry has been having troubles so I’m going to buy a new car within this year and I’m leaning towards a 2009 Camry SE. However I’m not sure if I should wait a little longer for the 2010 edition.

My question is, does anyone know what month the 2010 Toyota Camry edition will be available?

A: The 2010 Camry LE’s are already on their way in. My store is due to receive two next week. The SE’s won’t be built for a little while though. Plenty of 09’s around with good incentives. The only major change between the model years is that stability control will now be standard on all models. Cosmetically, it’s the same car. Hope this helps.

Correction…Here are some of the changes:

Product Change Summary
New L4 Engine/Transmission:
Camry will have a new upgraded standard powertrain for 2010. A new 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine equipped with dual variable valve timing with intelligence (VVT-i) will produce 169 hp for Camry, LE and XLE grades. For sporty performance the SE grade gets additional tuning (including dual exhaust) for 179 horsepower, which is 21 more horsepower than the previous four-cylinder engine. The new engine can be combined with a six-speed manual transmission or a six-speed automatic transmission with sequential shift on Camry, LE, and SE grades. It’s not only about performance as fuel economy is improved as well with MPG for the manual transmission at 22/33 and automatic transmission at 22/32. {The 3.5-liter V6 delivering 268 horsepower will continue to be available on LE, SE and XLE grades.}
The Camry Hybrid will continue to be equipped with Toyota’s industry-leading Hybrid Synergy Drive and is certified as an Advanced Technology Partial Zero Emissions Vehicle (AT-PZEV). The Camry Hybrid is just one of a handful of cars that meets this strict standard, producing over 70 percent less smog-forming emissions than the average new car.
Safety:
Toyota’s STAR Safety System is now standard on all Camry models and features ABS with Electronic Brake-force Distribution (EBD), Vehicle Stability Control (VSC) with traction control (TRAC) off switch and Brake Assist. Camry has a total of seven airbags, including a driver’s knee airbag, driver and front passenger airbags, front seat-mounted side airbags and front and rear side curtain airbags.
Exterior:
Exterior changes to the gas model Camry include a newly designed grille and front bumper, an enlarged lower intake, larger projector headlamps and restyled LED tail lamps. The SE also gets redesigned front and rear under bumper spoilers and side rocker moldings that give it a more aggressive and sporty look. The Camry and LE grades feature restyled standard wheel covers. The XLE grade will run on new 16-inch 10-spoke alloy wheels, while the SE grade adds new 17-inch sporty alloy wheels.
The Camry Hybrid exterior enhancements will include a unique hybrid grille, a distinct front bumper, a wider lower intake, restyled fog lights and 16-inch alloy wheels, all of which help to differentiate the hybrid from the gas models.
