Q: What is the difference between Nissan Altima and Altima Coupe cars for sale?
Even the different product of the same company makes the difference. Here the same name and company also are having the difference. I just wanted to clear my mind before buying.

A: Nissan Altima is one of the most running models and is having quite fascinating and fabulous model. Another developed model of the same is the Nissan Altima Coupe. Both of them are having special features but let’s check some of the highlighted features which make the price difference between these cars.

# Performance

Performance of the cars is quite important and Altima is definitely a good car but if compared to Altima Coupe it is quite dull performance car as the driving quality is just like a Buick, also the handling is poorer and mainly is having the bumpy and noisy nature which is quite irritating. All these hurdles are overcome by Altima Coupe.

# Fuel Economy

Even with the same engine mode, the Altima is having lesser fuel economy than the Altima Coupe. Also the disc capacity of playing the music is restricted in the previous one and the later one is quite better.

# Pricing

Pricing wise there is some of the difference as the Altima is having lower prices than the Altima Coupe. Altima is offered at the starting rate of $19,900 and the Coupe is offered at around $22,000. So, there is a minor price difference.

So, if not too much constraint about the budget, the Altima Coupe is definitely better option.

I need to buy a car ASAP and theres a 2002 Nissan Altima for sale at the dealership for Ten thousand. $2500 down and 300 a month. It comes with a warranty, but is it worth it to buy the car? Owner One Vehicle

A: Try getting a descent car. I know that Nissan’s and Toyota’s are hard to get for that price. You should get a Honda Civic instead. They save gas and the parts are cheap. Honda Civic is a car that you can rely on.

Q: Ballpark Value of Nissan Altima GXE?
A friend of mine has a 94/95 Nissan Altima GXE for sale, and is asking $1300.00.

It has 190,765 miles, some very small rust marks/damage, far as I know it’s in good working order with no known big problems (very smokey and tatty inside though).

I’m not planning to buy it, but he’s asked me to handle selling it for him, since he’s out of state for the foreseeable future, and frankly, I think he would be nearer the mark to be looking for about $700 for it. He bought it about 15 months ago for $1300.00

Who is closer to the real value of the car? me at $700 or him at $1300?

A: According to the latest auction results from Manheim Auto Auctions (one of the largest in the country)

1995 Altima GXE

Low – $536
Avg – $1072
High – $1608

That is based on an average of 132,000 miles

Considering the mileage and condition of hte car, I wouldnt go over $400 on that.

Q: Is autotrader best place to list car for sale?
I am looking to sale my 2007 Nissan Altima for the payoff amount (about $12500) or best offer. I am trying to figure out the best place to list. I have heard of autotrader and I know a dealership won’t give me what it is worth, so I am curious for helpful answers.

A: I personally think it is, however, it is completely your decision/.

Q: For Sale Price for a 02 Nissan Altima with a blown head gasket…?
I haven’t found anyone to really go to for advice SO I’m asking you.. It has 121,000 miles on it. Is the car worth anything? If I put a forsale sign on it what should I ask for? I’m still paying on the car, I owe around 4,300 on it.. ANY SUGGESTIONS? Thanx

Anyone who owns an Altima GET RID OF IT! I just replaced the motor in this car about 10 months ago, on top of that I’ve had a number of other repairs.

A: you can list it for about 1200.00 to sell the whole car but expect to be talked down. Your best option is to trade it if its driveable. You will lose about 1k on the trade but you’ll atleast be out of a dead car. The dealer will add the balance to you new loan. If you already have another car, if you have the space, part it out (sell individual parts). You’ll make a lil make this way, but still owe on the car. Good luck.

Q: 1996 Nissan Altima GXE – are they reliable?
I found two Nissan Altimas for sale.

1) 83K miles for $3000, with options like remote starter and keyless entry. new tires, but small scratch on bumper

2) 123K miles for $1500, new muffler, power everything.

Which one is better?
Are they reliable cars?

A: it all depends. you need to try and find out if it was ever in a accident or been poorly maintained. My friend got an 97 Altima and it runs fine with over 200,000 on it.

If anything go with the first one with 83K cause some ppl think that once the car hits 100K, they should stop maintaining it and run it to the ground….(just my opinion)

Q: 2010 Nissan Vera or 2006 Nissan Altima or something better?
I need to get a car. I am sort of stuck between two options. I want to spend around $10,000 + tax. I am open to other options just keep in mind me budget.

I could get a brand new base model (yeah crank windows and no ABS) Nissan Versa with a 10yr, 100,000 mile warranty (my local dealership offers the extended warranty on all of their cars). This is good because I won’t be having to worry too much about my car breaking. I would also get 0% financing. But I am not sure if this car is less safe than something bigger and less bare bone….

There is also a 2006 Nissan Altima 2.5S for sale with 51,000 miles on it for $10,500. I like that this car is bigger, and its an upgraded model, so it has ABS and more features. But its used, so I wouldn’t get the 0% financing.

I live in NY, so I do get snow.
I really need help with this I can’t handle cars! Help!
HELP HELP HELP!!

A: 1. Buying a new car is a huge mistake.

2. Always buy used so that you don’t have to take the hit of depreciation.

3. Always buy used so that you can buy more car for the money.

4. Forget the Versa.

5. The Altima you mentioned is a ripoff.

6. Here are some examples of the Altimas you can get for $10,000 if you use your head and shop around:

These are just examples to give you and idea of the market. Notice how low the mileage is compare to yours?

7. Remember that the price can always be negotiated, so if you want to spend 10 grand, you can shop in the 11 grand range.

8. Buy a warranty. A good extended warranty from an actual Nissan dealership will be $1,000 to $1,500.

9. Shop around.

10. Do some test drives.

11. Don’t buy just any crap the dealer tries to sell you. You are the customer. You have the money. You have the power.

Q: What is the difference between a nissan altima and a nissan altima SE-R?
where can i find a se-r for sale and is it rare and why?

A: They cranked up the butch by adding 10 horsepower, a rigid suspension, and forged 18-inch wheels wearing super-stick summer tires and a lip kit all around. At 260Hp the SER keeps company with the 270-hp Acura TL and 303-hp Pontiac Grand Prix GXP as one of a new generation of sedans whose power languishes in a front-drive cage. Nissan offers four exterior colors: gray, silver, red, and black. I sell Nissan’s in california and have seen only 2 of these used and they run about 24,000 to 27,000 used.

The Altima SE-R is a great vehicle actually my friend steve owns one in the smoke color he traded a 4cyl. Altima in for it and he loves it to death… if I recall correctly the Altima SE-R was first introduced in 2005 and continued untill 2006 model line up.

Nissan Altima SE-R
Vehicle type: front-engine, front-wheel-drive, 5-passenger, 4-door sedan
Price as tested: $30,890 (base price: $29,930)
Engine type: DOHC 24-valve V-6, aluminum block and heads, port fuel injection
Displacement: 213 cu in, 3498cc
Power (SAE net): 260 bhp @ 6000 rpm
Torque (SAE net): 251 lb-ft @ 3600 rpm

——————————————————————————–

Transmission: 6-speed manual
Wheelbase: 110.2 in
Length/width/height: 192.5/70.4/57.4 in
Curb weight: 3380 lb

——————————————————————————–

Zero to 60 mph: 6.1 sec
Zero to 100 mph: 15.8 sec
Zero to 120 mph: 25.1 sec
Street start, 5-60 mph: 6.4 sec
Standing 1/4-mile: 14.8 sec @ 97 mph
Top speed (governor limited): 141 mph
Braking, 70-0 mph: 168 ft
Roadholding, 300-ft-dia skidpad: 0.86 g
EPA fuel economy, city driving: 20 mpg
C/D-observed fuel economy: 19 mpg

Now finding a used one is kinda hard because of the low production on these things but your best bet is call your local dealers and ask them if they have any in their inventory also check carmax.

Q: where can I buy the new 2008 Nissan Altima?
I am looking for the new hybrid model that is currently on sale in California. I live in the Philadelphia Pa. area.

A: You may want to check in New York and Florida. Penn. will NOT be getting any. Don’t feel bad, we didn’t get any here in Texas either.

What kind of Chevy hybrid would you buy Anna ?

Q: 2002 Nissan Altima 2.5S, motor destroyed. Sales options?
Catalytic converter disintegrated into the engine. 140K+ miles, car in good shape otherwise. What are my best options for selling a car that needs an engine replacement? Nissan quoted $5600 to replace motor. I considered selling privately for $7K until this happened.

A: sell the parts individually. 7k w/ motor = 2k w/o motor…..if you’re lucky.

Q: Nissan altima 2.5s offer?
It’s the Nissan tent event a gimmick sale to get people buy it? What you guys think of this deal for black 2.5s altima with sunroof, alloy wheels, ABS for 19k, OTD should be around 21k. Should i bite on this deal? I haven’t negotiate the price yet, how much do you think i can negotiate to? btw this is in California. good deal or not? I need some advice

A: 19K is a reasonable deal, if its 21K then that means it has to be a 2010 the new ones.

Choose 19K

Q: Where can i find this car?
I am looking for a nissan altima for sale i’ve looked on some sites but i keep getting the same cars where can i find more up to the price of $7,000?

A: try
www.cars.com

Q: Nissan Altima: Good car? What have you heard?
I’m looking at purchasing a used 2005 or 2006 Nissan Altima sedan. There seem to be a lot of them for sale. Are they good cars? Or do they fall apart a lot? Any comments would be appreciated.

A: http://www.carsurvey.org/model_Nissan_Altima.html

Best place to try we always go there when changing our car,its a free site with owners reviews.

Q: 2008 Nissan Altima Coupe – Price?
When should the price for the 2008 Nissan Altima Coupe begin to decrease from the original sale price? Also, about how much should I expect it to fall?

I’m thinking about purchasing a used, 4-cylinder, automatic 2.5 soon and was wondering about the price. I know it won’t fall a whole lot, but just looking for an idea. Thanks.
Yes, a used car depreciates, but come on fellas, a used one depreciates as fast as a new one?? A new one starts going down in value as soon as you drive it off the lot. I’m not getting it new. New cars are basically a dumb investment. If you shop right and get a quality used car, you can save a lot of money and get just as much use, if not more.

I currently have a 1995 Nissan Altima. We bought it a year used (from a dealership but it apparently had been a rental for a year). Not only has it not given me problems, but after 13 years, it’s A/C still works perfect, car runs great, rarely gives me problems, if at all. By now, it has to have close to or just over 200,000.

All you people saying buy new must work for Nissan, are dealership hounds trying to pull a fast one or are just misinformed. Nissan makes high-quality cars and if you get them used, you have just as much quality as new. You just have to shop smart. Common sense.

A: Just buy it new. Why would you want to wait for a car be used by someone else? You wont have the warranty to protect your investment, plus you wont keep the car as long because of the mileage when you first bought it. A used car depreciates just as much as a new car.
