Q: Honda Civic Tour 2008 pre-sale??
I have heard two different things about the presale. I heard that it starts on Jan 30th at 10 am, and i heard that it starts on Jan 29 with no time given? Can anyone tell me which one is true. The concert that I’m planning on going to has a small amount of tickets to give out, so if you know for sure, that would be great. Also, if you could let me know were you got your info, that’ll help. Thanks!

Q: Honda Civic Type R EK9 for sale?
My friend wanted an EK9 so badly but he can’t find one and he asked me for help, but I can’t find any EK9, we live in 91733 CA, can anyone help me find a website or any dealer or any EK9 on sale near 91733 CA within 25 miles? Any mileage is fine.
forgot to mention, he only wants it when he saw one on a street, and I saw one too, but those can be imports like how I saw the skylines.

A: The EK9 Type-R was ONLY sold outside the US. If your friend wants one, he would need to import one in, or find someone who did import one in and wants to sell it.

Q: Buy a £550 Honda Civic!?
I have a black M reg 1995 1.4 elec pack Honda Civic hatchback for sale. It has done about 118000 miles, full service history, mot till January 2008. It will be taxed for 6 months. I have used it most days for work and it has never let me down. Cam belt has been changed. There is no problem i know of with the car; the exhaust has just been serviced and i have put a new tyre on. I havent advertised it yet, just seeing if i get a response here!
I am selling because i have a slightly newer car as a result of an unexpected deal from a family member! As a first time buy or cheap motor it would be a great car. low insurance. I am in the High Wycombe area so anyone interested?
The driveshaft gaiter( a rubber boot) was replaced a week ago but no problem with joint as i caught it in time.)

My brother has a honda civic lx for sale for 4000. I am trying to find my first car. It is in very nice condition. Is it a good buy or is it not a good first car. I like the fact the a pretty potent engine that can be tunned and modded.

A: Your civic has either the d17a1 or the d17a2, the a2 being the vtec or “vtec-e” engine. both of these engines have almost no potential as they are seen as the bastard childs from honda lol. both these engines dont have much potential with an NA build. they can perform with a turbo build but this obviously isnt the case since its going to be your first car.

this car is a good commuter and you can make it look nice but other than that its not a car to go fast without swapping or turbo

Q: 2004 Honda Civic 2DR Throttle Pressure Sensor?
My check engine light came on and it indicated the TPS needed replacement. The dealer sells the part for $300 plus $89 to put it in. I see on ebay there are non Honda TPS for sale made by other mfrs. Any one have any experience putting a TPS in and know how to get the best deal on buying the part? It looks like only three screws to put one in?

A: it is just three screws. go to the parts store and buy one for what?? 50 dollars?? call them up and ask for the price. or goto autozone.com and look up the part and price yourself.

We have a 1990 Honda Civic for sale. It has 264,200 miles on it. It has been in a car wreck but IT STILL DRIVES well, its just not too pretty. Registration goes out this month and the inspection has just gone out on it and it needs a new headlight and emissions to be able to pass. There is a hole in the dash and the glove box is wiggly (a hinge is broken on one side). The seats have some small holes in them, but the car seat covers go with the car! The radio is a stock radio with tape player. The A/C does not work. It had a new radiator put in it about 2 years ago, ignition was replaced a year ago, fuel pump within the last year.

Q: Honda Civic 2007 for SUV Trade or Re-Sale – Best Option? Advice Needed!?
I recently purchased a 2007 Honda Civic DX Base Model about 4 months ago, at a price of $17,500, plus $2000 down payment including Tax/Licensing/Plate/Deaer Fees, for a total of $19500.

I have owned it for 4 months now, financed the car for 4.9% APR for 5 years, and I currently owe $16k on the vehicle, at a monthly payment of almost exctly $300 per month, with 4.5 years remaining.

The car is in pristine shape, no accidents, or damages. It has about 7500 highway miles on it, and looks and drives perfectly new.

I obviously love the car, but I think I need a bigger car – an SUV would be great.

Can someone give me advice on what I can do to either (1) Trade my Honda for a comparable SUV? or (2) How I can re-sell it outside of a dealership for best value?

Should I go to a dealership? The same Honda dealership told me that I can trade it in for $13k, which seems ridiculous to me. Help?

A: The 2008 CRV’s are on the market dropping the price on the 2007 CRV.

http://www.craigslist.org is a free site for advertisements. Perhaps list the CRV for $20K and see if you can make some money after you pay the loan.

A: Crx Si, the more performance version of the group. They are good cars, very light weight and get phenomenal gas mileage. If you are looking for power, stock they don’t have much but after an engine swap and some performance mods these guys are really quick and fun. Make sure you get a manual, otherwise you look like a pussy… Have fun.

A: Go to craigslist.org for the Chicago area, or look at autotrader.com. Private parties would be the best but if a dealer has one you might have to get on your negotiation hat.

Q: Is $4,450 a fair price for a 2000 Honda Civic DX Hatchback with 115,000 miles?
I recently found a used 2000 Honda Civic DX Hatchback for sale in Northern VA and I’d just like to know if $4,450 is a fair price to pay? Here are some details:

115,000 miles
Automatic 4 cyl
1.6L engine
Cruise control
Alarm system
Sony CD player
Great condition all around

My brother told me that with it being a Honda that even at 115,000 miles it probably still has another 350,000+ miles to go. Does that sound right? I heard people joke about how a used Honda or Toyota with 150,000 miles will last longer and are also better investments than a new Ford/Chevy. Any truth to this? Anyway, I’d appreciate any advice you folks could give me on this.

A: That is a good deal. If you were looking at this car on a carlot here it would be about 6,000. I say go for it and it is a Honda, so you will have many miles if its in as good of shape as it sounds. good luck
